I\'ve Got the Write Stuff... Baby 04/30/2009

Yes, that was a very bad reference to a NKOTB song. If you don't know what NKOTB stands for, consider yourself lucky.

So my next 4 week online writing class is starting next week! Who wants to take it? Who wants to let the world know on their blog that they can be one of the last five to get in this session? Now is the time to give me a plug! Nothing like five days notice to get this thing rolling.

On other notes, my mom is home, I finished painting my kids' room, and we've thus far managed to avoid death by swine flu. (But not avalanche by thrift store piles. Working on that one.)

How are you all?

Hi,

Glad to know your mom is home. Yay!

I'll give you a little plug in my next post.

We're amidst an avalanche of too much crap. Should've been much better at screening before it all came thru the door. Oh, well.

Is this perhaps the previously promised chance to win a spot in the class? Because if it is I'll blog your socks off, baby!

NKOTB ...I love it! My best friend just went to one of their concerts (she said it was great!) and I was bummed that I couldn't go (I had a 1 week old). Glad your mom is home and a big congrats on painting the kids room. BC isn't the same without you. But I'm loving this blog! Have fun with you class!

Andrea, SO glad you're mom is doing well! I'm also really glad you seem to be doing so much better, you sound really positive! I'd love to give you a hand with anything you need...just not your overabundance of thriftstore stuff, I'm drowning in my own avalanche of extraneous crap! Love you!

NKOTB. Wow. Haven't thought about them in years. Funny! So glad your mom is doing well...I'm ruthlessly cleaning out my junk. Except for the stuff in the guest bedroom closet, which for some reason, even thinking about cleaning out makes me feel ill. Just don't wanna touch it.

Now what the heck. Why haven't I thought of this before? Getting together at a hotel for the night, with several women friends? There's always/usually good deals to be had on hotwire, for example. Great thinking, Zoloft Mom! Hope you had a really fun night away.
